Sunny Raj is an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science and Engineering department at Oakland University. Dr. Raj received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Central Florida. Part of his research effort is devoted to increasing trust in machine learning algorithms by improving explainability and by calibrating the output of these systems. Another focus area is to design ultra-energy-efficient ML systems to allow these systems’ broader use and applicability. Dr. Raj has papers in top machine learning and design automation venues like NeurIPS and ICCAD. His work has led to two best paper awards.
